Running Man Episode 279 English Subbed - In the next serve, Gary saves the attack to score the winning point.

Suspicion runs high for several people, but the truth may come as a surprise. Following the mystery surrounding the X-Man and R-Man, our cast will have their fortunes told in several different readings. Will 2016 be a lucky year with exciting prospects or will it be yet another year full of disappointments? Broadcast on December 27, 2015. Going into this second half, our top three suspects are: Jong-kook, Seolhyun, and Andy. He serenades Stephanie like old times though, and also like before, Chae-young steps in. Jong-soo says his heart remains the same ten years ago and today. She too dances down the line, sending love bullets to Jong-kook as her grand finale. Now the couple games begin, the first of which where the teams will dress a Christmas tree by hanging ornaments without using their hands. Kwang-soo had received a message from the X-Man asking him to break the rules at least once and stir suspicion during the couple game so Kwang-soo can be identified. Suk-jin and Gary seem to slip up early, and Kwang-soo makes sure to stir suspicion. Not long afterward, Jong-soo readily messes up. In terms of the score, the teams are tied at 6:6, and Jong-soo deliberately turns his face until the ornament slips out. Team Ji ultimately wins the game 13 to 11. The teams gather at the SBS building and told the rules: There are 16 laptops hidden throughout the building that allows them to vote. Should the teams fail to identify the X-Man and R-Man, 17 million won will be donated under those two names. And just like the old rules, if they guess correctly, then the money will be donated in their names. He finds a laptop and inputs B. But he also sees another vote for Seolhyun. The votes start racking up for Seolhyun, but people suspect Kwang-soo too. Soon half the votes are for Seolhyun, whose name is announced as the first target. Everyone is told of the news, and Kwang-soo seems just as happy to hear that Seolhyun is innocent. The votes are split between Jong-soo and Kwang-soo, the latter of whom rushes towards Jung-nam to tell him that everyone suspects him. But as soon as he writes in his own name, Suk-jin knows that he must be the R-Man. Jae-suk heads up to keep commentating and asks outright if Kwang-soo is the X-Man or R-Man. Before Jong-kook can charge at Kwang-soo though, Jae-suk tells him to think carefully—this is their final opportunity. And whaddayknow, it is Spartakooks. With that, Jong-kook and Kwang-soo celebrate their win. We jump ahead to the next filming on an empty soundstage. Suk-jin is up first, and everyone gapes to hear that one of the Betrayal Trio is a man of loyalty. But there is someone here who could keep in in line. Her lucky numbers are 6 and 3, and lucky colors are black and sky blue. Haha has a kind spirit but is incredibly stubborn who must have things his way. His lucky numbers and colors are 6, 3, black, and white. Suk-jin agrees that Jae-suk had been talking about having plans for a second baby. All he has to do is avoid Gary. That comment slays the room. Kwang-soo will be the one who brings him luck this year, though Gary is quick to point out that he can easily put that flame out. Jong-kook and Kwang-soo sit down to have their fortunes told together. Kwang-soo is told that he was born as a tall tree, and right now although he has plenty of water and his roots are growing in nicely… there is no sun to help it grow. Everyone agrees that Kwang-soo tends to rush things, especially in the love department. Afterward, the group is told to choose a color and number for the ladder game. Next the cast will receive tarot card readings. Kwang-soo sits down first and thinks of someone before selecting three cards. Jong-kook is up next, and when told that this person always make him feel bad, he launches himself at Kwang-soo. Haha makes sure to clarify that these readings are in the confines of the ladder game, and not for life. The next person is a great match for him: Gary. Jae-suk is told that his match with this person will change by the day. That person is Kwang-soo. Things do look good with Gary though, and Jae-suk is told that he seems to get along with mostly everyone. Gary is told that although this relationship might be difficult and stressful at times, it will prove rewarding. When it comes time to choose partners, Gary pairs up with Jong-kook, Haha with Ji-hyo, and Jae-suk ends up with Kwang-soo. And finally Suk-jin pairs up with his VJ Yoo-seok. If there ever was a time to test their fortunes, this would be it. Ji-hyo and Haha vs. Suk-jin and Yoo-seok are up first, and the score is 3:0 in favor of Ji-hyo and Haha until Haha flubs. Needless to say Ji-hyo and Haha secure third place. In the next serve, Gary saves the attack to score the winning point. Lastly, the cast sits down for a physiognomy face reading session. Jae-suk is told that his prominent features high cheekbones and a protruding mouth makes him perfect for his line of work. The cast is given more lines to add to the ladder depending on their physiognomy ranking, then led to a row of boxes where the unlucky one will be dumped with water to er, ring in the new year? Happy New Year, everyone! She's not super witty and likes to take a back seat during conversations between big groups. It also doesn't help that she isn't the best dancer or singer either, nor does she have the confidence to pretend she does like Kwang Soo or Jae Suk. For example in the 100v100 episodes, she was completely invisible and only invited 1 friend along. I don't wanna make it sound like she's anti-social among celebrities or anything, but c'mon now, you only had 1 friend or colleague to invite to the show as part of the mission? I think jihyo needs to step up her game. She's not useless, but I think she's definitely not contributing much to RM. I really liked the Bad-Jihyo character but it really seems like shes holding back on her temper and not lashing out whenever the guys tease her or something. Maybe she got some bad press over that character? I do think Jihyo loses out on screentime because she's not that witty, but it seems a little harsh to say that she's totally useless. She just doesn't seem like the type to really push a certain type of image. She kind of used to play into the Monday Couple thing but that pretty much ended after she announced she was dating the CEO and it only comes back once in a while, and maybe on tours. I mean there's nothing wrong with playing into personas for a variety show, and since I'm not Jihyo, I can't say for sure that Jihyo just likes being genuine, and that's why she's not as visible on the show, but I think it's cool that Jihyo just steps back and lets the female guest get her spotlight, and I really admire that she can stick it through everything with the guys. Maybe she's not as funny or in-your-face as some of the other cast members, but somehow she manages to attract a decent fanbase, and she works pretty hard, so I like having her there. Agreed - overly harsh and that Ji-hyo is shy and quiet person and not playing to the spotlight like Kwang-soo and Haha which both sometimes overdo it. Ji-hyo is at her best at the games where she is the Ace or Lady Luck or when she zones out and is Ms. Usually happens when it's a couple of guests or just the RM members. Every now an then, she'll have put-downs of the other RM members, but often she's on the receiving end such as the Gong Hyo-jin ep where they were supposed to raise her heart-rate, but the KJK and Suk-jin kept making fun of Ji-hyo. Ji-hyo was great when she had to raise Haha's heart-rate when Lee Beom-soo guested and started to accuse Haha of having a romantic interest in her, but that she doesn't see him as a man. And while Ji-hyo is a bad singer and dance, she gamely does both even tho she knows she doesn't have a good singing voice and really can't dance. I like her and all but if you're looking objectively you can see that she doesnt bring anything to the show. The one thing that irritated me the most was the Monday couple line: she really didnt put any effort in it unlike Gary. The few moments she initiated it felt scripted and rehearsed. Now it seems that both jihyo and gary are in a skit for We Got Married. These 2 should be removed and given a spot in WGM instead to act out corny scripts and promote gary's halyang and music - which happens in most of the latest eps. Maybe that will rejuvenate RM and satisfy MC fans that border on the scary fanatical spectre. I agree with this... Its not enough callling her the ace and having a loveline that parades Halyang brand wear, that title Ace now rankles whenever it is used. All the other members although Gary is also lacking, but not as much as Jihyo work so hard. In so many shots, it is obvious Gary is being over promoted over the others, I have a feeling the PDs are friends of his as they are often wearing his halyang caps or it was to justify his award for 2015, with so many episodes dedicated to him and his music being played. But Jihyo's award was perplexing... SBS scripting even award ceremonies?? Having seen Jimin, and the ex Xman ladies in this episode actually shows us how much Jihyo has fallen behind in character development. Jimin was a breath of fresh air in this episode. Atleast Bobby got some, he's SO adorable. I honestly thought this Xman collaboration OK.. I wished it was done a bit differently... I can't wait for RM to get back to their usual physical activities XD or atleast some interestingly themed mystery plotlines. The zombie one was good.. I feel she is edited out a lot... I was hoping for a repeat of him imitating Kim Jong-kook, performing a Turbo dance, and inviting him to do it again. Thanks for the recap! KJK didn't talk much during the X-Man days which is like a 180 degree turn from the present , but while he didn't speak much, it was usually pretty witty. I think Ji Hyo is not useless, she just know how to give way to the guess that needs more spotlight than her. She is not greedy and when their are male guest she shines more than anyone. So for me she is just giving the other to shine, i mean the guest because if she will put herself out front the rest would not be noticed at all. Usually, the 1st part of X-Man is funnier than the 2nd part. KJK really didn't try to be the X-Man during the couple game Eagle Eyes was exceptionally bad at the couple game and really only tried to be the X-Man during the 1st game where him losing to Seolhyun could be written off as Kookie's norm of deferring to a pretty gal. Those performance tend to be a funnier when there are gag men on as guests. I hope somebody can help us with that cute song. Although I wish they had invited regular guests on X-Man. I thought Jong Kook didn't do much as X-Man..? If only PD chose someone else.. Chae Yeon didn't age at all! I'm surprised to see she practically looks the same lol Eagle eye turn was epic. He just goes back to singing naturally like nothing happened. Too bad they skipped Haha : i knew it was JK from the beginning! Now go marry Kim Jong Kook! Most of all, I love the reactions of RM members during the fortune telling segment. You can see how they know each others so well.
